Training Course- Pedestrian Safety

The overall objective of the training is to familiarize the attendees with the knowledge of how to plan for safe efficient pedestrian infrastructure, that assists pedestrians to make short trips. The training will also focus on how engineers may reduce pedestrian collisions by planning networks with pedestrians in mind, and applying known safety initiatives, processes and treatments at sites that are known to be hazardous for pedestrians
